needing help

Hello bloggers,

We are redoing our laundry room soon and a few years ago I came across a photo of a black and white vintage inspired laundry room.

She had slim cupboards built into several walls and I am guessing they were about 6" deep and lined them with pegboard and shelves inside to hold paint cans, paintbrushes, tools, dog leashes etc. They were built out of wainscotting and had large iron strap hinges I think on the outside.

The washer and dryer were an under counter model topped with a counter top and I think a ticking curtain hiding them. Vintage dog prints were on the walls and an industrial wall light on each side.

Does anyone know where to find this photo and the source? I am wanting to built something similar to this in our back entry way to hold tools, cans of paint, etc.

I've tried searching and am having no luck.

Could it possible have been in the cottage living magazine. It seems I remember something like that. Can't say which issue.

I will look through my magazines. I am thinking it's in one of the Better Homes 100 ideas Real Rooms.

Oh she mentioned Cottage Living...I SO miss that mag! I also get BH&G, but moved recently and have not had time to read many issues. I sure hope you find what you are looking for, it sounds neat!

That taco ring looks yummy...it's gotta be a Pampered Chef recipe? I have that stone, but mine is black. ; ) I will be making this sooner than later.

Nice "meeting" you.

Natalie,
I just got around to reading your post on my blog.
Please accept my hugs and tears that are sometimes meant to be shared.

Yes, some days are better than others, but I don't think that there is ever a great day anymore. What do you think?

I have often wondered how Joshua will appear to me. One thing that bothers me, when I see Jesus face to face will he be mad at me for wanting to see Joshua more than himself.

I look forward to getting to know you.

Take care-

I forgot to answer your question about the top hutch piece, I actually lucked out and put in on top of our basement kitchen/bar counter and it looks like we had custom made cabinetry! I will post later about that! I was so thankful because I had no idea where I would store such a huge piece!

Thanks for visiting my blog, fellow IOWA crafty blogger! =-) I love your blog and have added it to my Google Reader. Now when I don't get the laundry done, you have been added to the list of people I blame. ha. Thanks again!

I have the original magazine clippings of that room from Country Home Feb. 2007. It was done by Houston decorator and stylist Joetta Moulden and architect Chris Lewis. I'd be willing to get copies to you but need to know how to do so.
